NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND AWARDS 2018-2024
Gresham Silver Surfers Network 2018
The funding was used to provide computer literacy workshops for older residents from the BAMER community giving them the skills and independence to address everyday issues such as paying bills, applying for jobs or helping children with homework.

Greshams Great Community Cohesion Project 2018-2021
Streets Ahead secured three years of Community Fund (Lottery) funding from 2018 to 2021 for a project which provided support, activities and volunteering opportunities for people in Gresham bringing the community together, reducing isolation and improvingthe local environment.
A one stop shop provided help with education, employment, crime prevention and environmental protection, a job and computer club, and access to local service providers.
Streets Ahead serves a diverse community including refugees and asylum seekers and offers specific support for new arrivals to the area.
A range of initiatives related to this projects showed results exceeding our expectation.

The funding will be used to continue providing and adapt the project's wide range of support to the local community and activities which enhance community cohesion. These include community online chat sessions games nights the distribution of a local newsletter and support for vulnerable women. This aims to reduce isolation and improve overall wellbeing.

My Gresham - Your Gresham is an oral history project for the Gresham area aimed at briging together the local community and improving cohesion in our community.
There are three part to this project:
