STREETS AHEAD staff, VOLUNTEERS and helpers

Streets Ahead depends on its volunteer helpers to support Kim, the full time manager and Linda, Chair of the Streets Ahead Managment Commitee. Without their invaluable help we would not be able to operate.

Streets Ahead Managment Commitee Chair and regular volunteer helper, Linda Mole
Past Chair of Gresham Community Council and Chair of Streets Ahead Management Committee since the start of Streets Ahead over 12 years ago, Linda Mole has been the driving force of th is organisation since its inception.
Linda was presented with the Mayors Award in 2013 for her unstinting work in Gresham and in recognition of her tireless work for her community.

The accolade recognises Linda’s contribution to life in the town and her commitment to a wide range of community groups and organisations. After 30 years as an administrator with Arriva, Linda retired in 1999, going on to serve as a volunteer and member of the management committee of Ayresome Community Enterprise from 1999 to 2011. This role developed her interest in the town’s community council network, and she was chairman of Gresham Community Council from 2001 till 2015. Linda also serves as a member of the Friends of Ayresome Gardens management committee, and is a member of the Gresham Communities First Panel. She is married to Tony, and has two stepchildren Lynda and Darren and four grandchildren.
